Ankle Arthrodiastasis
This technique is utilized in patients that have severe ankle arthritis of the ankle such that an ankle fusion may be avoided. With arthrodiastasis (arthro=joint) (diastasis=distraction) the joint can be salvaged and fusion may be delayed up to 5 years. The technique uses the Ilizarov frame.

Charcot Joint Reconstruction
In a diabetic Neuropathic Foot. This can be corrected with the Ilizarov frame.

Pediatric Reconstructive Surgery

  • Clubfeet surgery and minimal incision with Ilizarov application.
