Dear Dr. Singh,
In June 2001, while living near Bakersfield California, K had surgery on her right foot After 3 months and many follow-up visits (almost on a weekly basis) to the doctor, her foot had not yet healed She was told it was getting better, just taking longer than expected to heal
We moved to Victorville, California in September 2001, and K had an appointment with a doctor in the Victor Valley area the day after moving here. Immediately upon seeing her fool the doctor said she needed to get to a hospital right away.
Upon admission to Victor Valley Hospital doctor Sutpal Singh was assigned to her case. On September 11, 2001 Dr. Singh performed surgery on K's right foot. We were told that gangrene had developed in her foot and leg, with a calcaneal fracture and that if she had been just a week later amputation would have been necessary just below the right knee. We were also told the possibility existed she could still lose both her foot and leg.
Dr. Singh over the past two years, with meticulous care and consultations with specialists in other areas has consistently cared for K utilizing his surgical skills, knowledge and expertise to attempt to save her foot and leg.
It was necessary for Dr. Singh to prescribe wound care therapy and after wound care had accomplished all they could he still was required to perform additional surgery in September 2003.
We have no doubt that because of Dr. Singh's professionalism, his care, surgical skills and expertise, not only is the gangrene gone, K was able to keep her foot and leg and is now beginning to walk again.
Words will never be able to properly express our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Dr. Singh for what he did for K
Sincerely, R&K
